Boys Basketball: Goodhue falls at home

Junior Riley Bollum scored 17 points and had four steals for Goodhue Thursday but it wasn’t enough as the Wildcats fell 61-47 to Blooming Prairie in Goodhue.
Bollum hit 4 of 7 3-pointers in the loss. Goodhue (2-1) trailed 29-18 at halftime and were outrebounded 32-21.
The Awesome Blossoms (2-0) had three players score in double figures, led by Michael Thomas who had 23 points. Blooming Prairie shot 48 percent from the field and made 17 of 20 free throws.
Tyson Dicke provided seven points, six rebounds and a block for the Wildcats. Goodhue shot just 7-for-13 from the free-throw line.
The Wildcats travel to face second-ranked (2A) Rochester Lourdes Tuesday.
