Spotlight: Twenty-seven fiber and jewelry artists will show their diverse works during Crossings' ninth annual “Fabrications” exhibit open now through Dec. 31.
Intriguing bowls, earrings, wall hangings, stone and wire pendants, scarves, purses and more can be viewed during Crossings' holiday open hours. A public reception for the art is 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday Dec. 8,
Among this year's exhibitors is well-known artist and instructor Jo Wood of Duluth. Wood's pieces have been exhibited throughout the country and are included in collections of the Minnesota Historical Society and Mayo Clinic.

For many years, Wood lived along the North Shore in a rustic log cabin where she hauled water, heated with wood, and practiced her art.
Other exhibitors come from around Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. Marijke van Welzen of the Netherlands will show two Nuno felted scarves.
