Library will hold 'thank you' event

The Red Wing Public Library is holding a “thank you celebration” Friday Dec. 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. to thank patrons for their patience during the September closure when the roof was redone.

The Red Wing Public Library is holding a “thank you celebration” Friday Dec. 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. to thank patrons for their patience during the September closure when the roof was redone.

The event will include music by Neal Topliff, book signing by author Jacqueline West at 5 p.m., the opportunity to meet and read to therapy dog Belle, chair massages, crafts and refreshments.

The library also will waive half of late fees paid that day.
