Holiday event will be held in Mazeppa
The Mazeppa Lions Club and Mazeppa Area Historical Society will hold an event Saturday Dec. 15 featuring Santa and a soup and chili lunch.
The Mazeppa Lions Club and Mazeppa Area Historical Society will hold an event Saturday Dec. 15 featuring Santa and a soup and chili lunch.
Santa will arrive by horse and wagon at the Mazeppa Community Center by 10 a.m. and stay until noon. Children also take free rides in the wagon. Christmas stories also will be read.
Luncheon will be served until 1 p.m. for a free-will donation.
The historical society also will sell $1 tickets for a four-foot lighted Christmas tree with ornaments donated by local businesses and draw a winner that day.
