Nominations open for chamber awards

The Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its annual recognition awards. Customers, friends, associates and employees can nominate chamber member businesses for the following categories:

• Manufacturer of the Year

• Newcomer to the Chamber in 2012

• Restaurant of the Year

• Retail Business of the Year

• Service Business of the Year

Submit nominations online at www.republican-eagle.com/pages/chambernominations or by picking up a nomination form at the chamber office or at chamber events. Nominations must be 250 characters or fewer and turned in by 9 a.m. Dec. 10.

Public voting will take place online Dec. 26 through Jan. 3, and the winners will be announced at the chamber’s annual meeting Jan. 21 at Treasure Island Resort & Casino.
