Boys Basketball: K-M trio sinks Zumbrota-Mazeppa

Zumbrota-Mazeppa’s Lucas Ziemba scored a game-high 22 points on 5 of 8 shooting, but it wasn’t enough to overcome three Kasson-Mantorville players in double digits as the KoMets won 71-55 on Friday.

Peter Schwartz led K-M with 19 points and six rebounds, while Chad Aaker and Joey Hyde added 15 and 14 points, respectively.

The Cougars’ Kevin Niebuhr missed out on a double-double, finishing with 13 points and nine rebounds.
