One night after leading Red Wing to a victory over Austin, the senior duo of Tesha Buck and Macy Kelly helped the Wingers to a 5-0 start with an 80-45 road victory over Faribault on Friday.

Buck had her second double-double in two days, finishing with 31 points and 10 rebounds. She also had six steals. Kelly followed with 25 points in the victory.

Holding onto a 34-23 lead, Red Wing head coach Dave Muelken said his team made a concerted effort in the second half to make the hustle plays and get to the rim. The aggressive approach helped the Wingers overcome a poor shooting night from the field by going 32 of 42 from the free-throw line.

Red Wing has a week off before getting back on the court on Dec. 7, hosting Lakeville South and Minneapolis Roosevelt on back-to-back nights.
