Robin Renee Havig, 51, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Robin Renee Havig, 51, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

She was born June 11, 1961, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas and Judith (Vanatta) Pollock. She grew up and graduated from high school in Norwalk, Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa for 2 years. On Aug. 13, 1983, she married Steve Havig in Norwalk. The couple moved to Cloquet, Minn., for Steve's work, then moved to Red Wing in 1985 when Steve took a job transfer. Robin was employed as a front-end manager at the downtown Econofoods.

She was an active member of Cornerstone Church. She loved to read, camp, volunteer at church, and most of all, spend time with her family.

Robin is survived by her husband, Steve of Red Wing; daughters, Jamie, Courtney, and Megan; parents, Thomas and Judith Pollock of Iowa City; brother, Michael Morrow of West Branch, Iowa; and many other friends and family.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Cornerstone Church in Red Wing with Reverend Mark Kalb officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
