Red Wing’s offense clicked from the outset Tuesday at Winona as the Wingers won 78-56.

Tesha Buck filled up the stat sheet for Red Wing (3-0), scoring 29 points with six rebounds, seven assists and eight steals. Macy Kelly provided 20 points to go along with 10 rebounds and McKenzie Muelken had 12 points in the win. McKenna Schaffer scored seven points and Kara Norvet had six points.

“We shot really well,” Red Wing head coach Dave Muelken said. “We started really strong.”

The Wingers led 40-23 at halftime. Red Wing was 29 of 61 from the field, including 7-for-16 from the 3-point line.

“Our shot selection was outstanding,” Dave Muelken said. “We shared the ball really well. Our effort and intensity was good and we just got good shots.”

Dulcey Milek led Winona with 24 points, making four 3-pointers.

The Wingers are in action against Thursday at home against Austin before traveling to face Faribault Friday.
