Hanna Norman scored 20 points to lead Hastings as the Raiders defeated Cannon Falls 71-28 in Hastings.

The Bombers trailed 36-19 at halftime but Hastings shot better than 50 percent from the field in the second half, Cannon Falls head coach Eric Mace said.

“That definitely didn’t help the case,” he said. “Definitely stretched the score out more than it should have been.”

The Bombers shot 11 of 37 from the field in the loss. Maggie Rutter led Cannon Falls with six points. Leah Meyers, Courtney Woodcock and Erica Berg each scored five points for the Bombers. Woodcock also added seven rebounds.

“We’re trying to figure out a rotation right now,” Mace said. “We’re trying to figure out who’s going to rise to the occasion on the varsity stage.”

Cannon Falls plays again Thursday against Rochester Lourdes in Rochester.
