Purchase a light at the Senior Center, medical or YMCA. The cost is $4 per light.
A ceremony is planned for 6:30 p.m. Thursday Dec. 6 at the hospital cafeteria. Live music will be provided from Samuel Mackinney on piano and the Red Wing High School Ovation Choir under the direction of Mikkel Gardner.
Jokes wanted to book
The Senior Center wants your jokes about aging. Red Wing Area Seniors Inc. is compiling a book of favorite jokes about growing older in “Jest Aging.”
Challenges come with age, but seeing the humor is healthy and fun. Jokes that show seniors as smart, clever and courageous are especially wanted. Drop them off at the Senior Center or send in by email to nswanson@redwingseniors.com.
