To the Editor:
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the area businesses, churches, Minnesota Correctional Facility-Red Wing residents/staff, and numerous groups/individuals who donated their time and monies to help make the 2012 CROP Hunger Walk a tremendous success.
On Sunday Oct. 7, 120 walkers participated in the CROP Walk and raised over $13,200. CROP Walk funds benefit people in need throughout the United States, around the world, as well as at our own Red Wing Food Shelf.
With the Thanksgiving season upon us we thank all of you who again demonstrated the kindness and generosity of the Red Wing community.
