Solid Waste campus will accept holiday lights

The Red Wing Solid Waste Campus will accept Christmas lights and old extension cords at no charge during the holiday season. During the Holiday Stroll, the drop-off site will be in front of City Hall, and from Nov. 24 to Jan. 15 the location will be the solid waste campus.

The campus also will offer free disposal of holiday trees and greens from Jan. 2 to 15 during regular business hours at the campus.

The Red Wing Lions Club will provide curbside pickup of trees on Jan. 5 or Jan. 12 for a donation of at least $5. To make arrangements, send a check and note indicating which day you would like pickup to the Lions Club c/o Brad Wronski, 312 E. Sixth St., Red Wing.
