Super 8 reports Dumpster fire

The Red Wing Fire and Ambulance Department responded to a call about a Dumpster fire at the Super 8 Motel, 232 Withers Harbor Drive, at 8:22 a.m. Friday.

Once on scene, firefighters found a Dumpster and the surrounding fence fully involved in fire. It had also extended to an adjacent lean-to shed. The Dumpster and fence were destroyed, while the shed suffered significant damage.

There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
