The Red Wing Police Department is encouraging locals to be cautious when responding to online ads such as those on Craigslist.
The Red Wing Police Department is encouraging locals to be cautious when responding to online ads such as those on Craigslist. Recent cases reported to the Red Wing Police Department involving such ads include theft, vehicle tampering and sexual assault.
The department reminded citizens to meet in a public place and not provide a personal address to individuals advertising online. Those who feel they have been victims of criminal actions from such ads should contact the Red Wing Police Department at 651-385-3155.
