Film screening
Smooth Feather Productions presents “Dakota 38.” Fueled by a dream in 2005, Jim Miller and a group of riders make a 330-mile spiritual journey from Lower Brule, S.D., to Mankato, Minn., on horseback. The ride pays homage to the 1862 hanging of 38 Dakota warriors. This was the largest mass execution in U.S. history. The film is their story. He and several Dakota community members will speak to the audience after the showing.
