A propane tanker rolled near the intersection of 387th Street and Highway 72 in El Paso Township, Wis., on Wednesday morning, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Truck driver James Fabos, 47, of Altoona, Penn., was westbound on Highway 72 just before 7 a.m. when he overcorrected after the truck hit the side of the road, the department reported. The truck fell on its side, slid across both lanes of Highway 72 and rolled once before stopping in a ditch.
The driver turned down medical treatment, the department reported, and the cause of the crash was determined to be driver fatigue.
