Local ag group will hold workshop Nov. 15

The Southeast Minnesota Ag Alliance is holding a workshop, “Managing Our Farms Through Turbulent Times,” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday Nov. 15 at the International Event Center in Rochester.

Gary Sipiorski, loan officer with Vita Plus, will speak about strategies to manage farm operations in a turbulent financial environment, and mental health counselor Ted Matthews will speak about mental health concerns he sees among farmers. Small group sessions will allow for further discussion of both topics.
