Engel wins Kenyon mayoral race
Defeating two other candidates, Mike Engel received 42.98 percent of the vote to win the race for mayor of Kenyon.
Defeating two other candidates, Mike Engel received 42.98 percent of the vote to win the race for mayor of Kenyon.
Engel finished with 386 votes, while Diane Barrett followed with 299 (33.3 percent) and Scott Metcalf totaled 208 (23.16 percent). There were also five write-in votes.
In the race for Kenyon City Council, Richard E. Nielsen Jr. ran unopposed and collected 721 votes for 83.74 percent of the total. One-hundred forty votes were write-ins.
