Cannon Falls Mayor Robby Robinson will continue in his position after winning the election with 1,818 votes.

Robinson was running unopposed and collected 95.63 percent of the votes, with only 4.37 percent coming in as write-ins.
In the race for Cannon Falls City Council, three seats were open to be filled, so all three candidates earned a spot. Jay Sjoblom led with 33.68 percent of the vote (1,511 votes), just barely passing Morris Mattson with 33.3 percent (1,494 votes). Merlyce Johnson received 1,353 votes for 30.15 percent of the total. There were 129 write-ins.
