Eleven precincts of voters turned out and incumbent Dan Rechtzigel has held onto his seat on the Goodhue County Board.
11:40 p.m. - Eleven precincts of voters turned out and incumbent Dan Rechtzigel has held onto his seat on the Goodhue County Board. Rechtzigel finished the District 3 race with 2,370 votes, edging out challenger Barney Nesseth, who was leading for a portion of the night. Nesseth collected 2,290 votes, making up 48.97 percent of the total. Sixteen write-ins completed the vote totals.
11:20 p.m. - After seven of 11 precincts reported results, Dan Rechtzigel took the lead away from challenger Barney Nesseth in the race for the District 3 County Board seat. Rechtzigel has collected 1,450 votes (51.45 percent) while Nesseth sits back with 1,359 votes (48.23 percent). Nine write-ins have made up less than 1 percent of the vote.
10:30 p.m. - With four of 11 precincts reporting, challenger Byron "Barney" Nesseth has a more than 200-vote lead over incumbent Dan Rechtzigel in the race for the District 3 seat on the Goodhue County Board. Nesseth has received 861 votes for 56.98 percent of the total while Rechtzigel has secured 645 votes for 42.69 percent. There have been five write-ins.
