2 a.m.: Seifert defeats Drotos for Goodhue County Board District 5 seat

Final results show incumbent Ted Seifert defeating challenger Paul Drotos by 112 votes for the District 5 seat on the Goodhue County Board.

2 a.m. - Final results show incumbent Ted Seifert defeating challenger Paul Drotos by 112 votes for the District 5 seat on the Goodhue County Board. Seifert kept a lead throughout the night and finished with 2,148 votes (51.18 percent) while Drotos ended with 2,036 votes (48.51 percent). There were 13 write-ins.

11:20 p.m. - With only one precinct's votes remaining to be counted, Ted Seifert is maintaining the lead for Goodhue County Board District 5. Seifert has 1,568 votes (52.14 percent) and challenger Paul Drotos has received 1,428 (47.49 percent). Eleven write-ins have been counted.

9:55 p.m. - Ted Seifert is slightly ahead of challenger Paul Drotos for the District 5 County Board seat with more than half of the precincts reporting. Seifert has totaled 1,086 votes (52.74 percent) and Drotos has collected 964 (46.82 percent). There are nine write-in votes.

9:35 p.m. - Ted Seifert remains in the lead after two precincts turned in their votes. He has tallied 628 votes (53.72 percent) and opponent Paul Drotos has received 535 (45.77 percent). There are six write-ins.

9:05 p.m. - With Wacouta Township being the first of five precincts reporting, incumbent Ted Seifert holds 51.49 percent of the vote for the District 5 seat on the Goodhue County Board.

Seifert has received 138 votes while challenger Paul Drotos is narrowly behind with 129. There has been only one write-in vote.
