To the Editor:

Last year, more than 47,000 individual donors logged on to GiveMN.org and gave more than $13 million to nearly 4,000 Minnesota charities and nonprofits in 24 hours during Give to the Max Day. Last year Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity raised $4,300.

Nov. 15 is the fourth annual Give to the Max Day.

Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity and many other non-profits, together with GiveMN.org (the giving website for nonprofits and schools in Minnesota), are working to create a stronger nonprofit community for Goodhue County and Minnesota.

By giving online with GiveMN, county residents have the opportunity to make a huge difference for nonprofits in our area. We hope you will help support our community by logging on to www.GiveMN.org on Nov. 15 and give to your favorite charity or school. Be a part of this historical event and join this “Great Minnesota Give Together!”

Join us Nov. 15 anytime between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Red Wing YMCA where you can stop by booths from nonprofits in our community and decide which one you want to donate to.

There will also be some quick, fun and sometimes silly events at the top of each hour. Don’t miss out on the fun!
