New River Assembly will collect Operation Christmas Child boxes

New River Assembly of God will collect Operation Christmas Child boxes from Nov. 12-19. Hours from Nov 12-17 will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday Nov. 18, collection will be 1 to 4 p.m. and Nov. 19 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The area goal is 770 gift-filled shoe boxes. Suggested items include school supplies, hygiene items, stuffed animals and other toys, and clothing such as socks or jewelry. No food, liquids, glass or similar items should be included. Age categories are 2 to 4, 5 to 9 and 10 to 14. Donors are asked to mark boxes accordingly and to include $7 to cover shipping costs.
