A common reaction when people see national television broadcasting images from a disaster is to want to help, American Red Cross officials said. But there are disaster needs at home, too — house fires, winter storms and flooding.
A common reaction when people see national television broadcasting images from a disaster is to want to help, American Red Cross officials said. But there are disaster needs at home, too — house fires, winter storms and flooding.
The Red Cross relies on trained volunteers to respond. Officials are interviewing people this week. For information, people in Goodhue and Wabasha counties should call 507-452-4258.
