DFL leaders made a brief stop in Red Wing Friday morning for the second day of their “Road to Progress” bus tour.
Gov. Mark Dayton has been traveling throughout the state with the group, but did not make an appearance in Red Wing because he wasn’t feeling well after getting dental surgery the day before, DFL Chair Ken Martin told a crowd of about 50 people in the DFL Field Office at 8 a.m. Friday.
The tour extends through Monday evening, hitting such locations as St. Peter, St. Cloud, Moorhead, Bemidji, Hibbing, Grand Rapids and Eagan, Minn., before wrapping up in Minneapolis.
