Teen injured in dirt bike accident

A Pine Island teen was injured Sunday afternoon while riding dirt bike, Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Mark Martincek, 17, was riding on private land on 154th Avenue Way in Pine Island Township when he went off a jump, went airborne and was ejected from the vehicle. The bike landed on Martincek.

He was transported by Zumbrota Ambulance to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. He was in good condition as of Monday afternoon.
