Spotlight: Boutique and gallery show

The Red Wing Arts Association begins its holiday season as well as its annual boutique and a gallery show Saturday Nov. 3. Refreshments will be served at a public open house from 2 to 4 p.m.

The boutique features jewelry, both holiday-themed and party bling; scarves to stay warm; handmade bags and totes; crafted wood bowls and boxes; pottery, both serving pieces and decorative items; hand-blown glass; original art, paintings and sculpture; and for the budding artist, from age 3 to 103, a gift certificate for art classes.

In addition, RWAA opens “Insights,” a member art show in the Vogel Gallery. Member artists will share a piece of artwork that represents their artistic vision. More than 35 artists will participate.
