Minnesota State Patrol troopers and local law enforcement will up their DWI enforcement presence this weekend as many people have Halloween parties. During weekends when such parties are typically held in 2007-2011, there were 2,342 motorists arrested for DWI, the Department of Public Safety reported.

The department also reminded drivers to keep an eye out for kids trick-or-treating on Halloween.
