To the Editor:

As a college student, I worked with Paul Drotos when I had a summer job with the city of Red Wing. One of my tasks was transferring data from card files and blue print maps onto computers.

Every morning we would have a meeting to discuss why and how things needed to get done. Paul always stressed safety, accuracy, communication, completion, and most importantly: public service. He called these things "The Pillars" of our project, and, the more we got done, the more the pillars made sense.

I am thankful for Paul’s insights into productive government because I have graduated college and am pursuing a career in the Park Service.

Paul Drotos has a great talent for bringing people together to get things done. I believe he would make an excellent Goodhue County commissioner.
