Woman injured when struck by car Monday
A 60-year-old woman was injured Monday morning when she was struck by a vehicle in Wanamingo, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.
A 60-year-old woman was injured Monday morning when she was struck by a vehicle in Wanamingo, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Harriet Peterson, Wanamingo, was struck just after 7 p.m. near Third Avenue and Third Street. A 16-year-old male had been parked on Third Avenue and was backing into the intersection and around a corner when he struck Peterson.
Peterson sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester by Zumbrota Ambulance. She was in serious condition as of late Tuesday morning.
