Domestic violence awareness event offered Thursday
The HOPE Coalition will hold a domestic violence awareness event Thursday Oct. 25 at Central Park in Red Wing.
The HOPE Coalition will hold a domestic violence awareness event Thursday Oct. 25 at Central Park in Red Wing.
Family activities such as games and free pumpkins will be available from 4 to 5:30 p.m. A program and balloon release at 5:30 p.m. also is planned. The event’s aim is to remember the 34 people who were killed by domestic violence last year in Minnesota. October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
In case of rain, the event will take place in First Lutheran Church’s fellowship hall.
