Letter: Howe knows the tough issues that citizens face

I believe Senator John Howe is doing a good job representing us in the Minnesota Legislature. I think he is bringing some “common sense” and accountability to Minnesota state government. I believe his first, short term in the legislature has shown to me a positive change in our state government. I believe John has done a good job of studying the issues facing Minnesota and the issues facing the communities in his Senate district. I believe John has put in more that his share of time thinking through the issues and making logical decision before voting on the bills before the Senate.

John always seems to be available to talk to and is very visible here in Red Wing and I expect in the other communities in his district. I have .known John for a number of years and have known him to be very informed and easy to talk to on the concerns I have.

I have observed John Howe on numerous occasions interacting with his wife and children and know that he does not take his role as husband and father lightly. He knows first hand what family life is all about. He knows first hand the issues facing families in today’s society.

I urge the voters in John Howe’s district to join me in voting November 6th for John Howe to continue being our state senator for the next 4 years.
