English Lutheran youth will hold Sleep Out for Hope
Youths from English Lutheran Church, Ellsworth, will hold Sleep Out for Hope Oct. 20-21 in the church parking lot.
Youths from English Lutheran Church, Ellsworth, will hold Sleep Out for Hope Oct. 20-21 in the church parking lot. The event is designed to raise awareness of poverty, homelessness and injustice.
The students in grades 6 to 12 will do service projects throughout the community before gathering for supper and worship. They will sleep in cardboard boxes and raise pledges for local charities.
