Letter: Choose Drotos, who can get the right things done

If government is how you treat people, then I know one candidate who has treated over 2,000 families well.
For many years it was my job to make an anonymous list of families in Red Wing who needed some extra help at the holidays. The Red Wing Elks Lodge would use out list to deliver a Christmas basket with all of the fixings for a complete turkey dinner.
I know that Paul Drotos has participated in this project as a volunteer, a chairman and a co-chairman for over 30 years. As the project kept expanding over the years because of increased need, Paul kept working harder and digging deeper for help from Elks, local businesses and the Prairie Island Indian Community.
Leaders should be elected because they can get things done. I will vote for Paul Drotos for my Goodhue County commissioner because he knows how to get the right things done.
