Volleyball: Cannon Falls overcomes Rochester Lourdes

Cannon Falls displayed a well-rounded attack Thursday in a four-set victory against Rochester Lourdes.

The Bombers (16-4, 10-2 HVL) had two players with double-digit kills in a 25-18, 25-12, 20-25, 25-8 win.

MaKenzie Franklin led the team with 19 kills, along with five blocks and Carly Broze finished with 11 kills and five blocks. Madasyn Hofstedt had a team-leading eight blocks and Hailey Huseth tallied nine kills and 16 set assists. Lydia Franken was 17-for-17 serving with three aces and also contributed 20 set assists. Anna Nelson provided two aces and 12 digs while Becca Vandenheuvel led Cannon Falls with 24 digs in the win.

The Bombers will wrap up the regular season Tuesday against Pine Island in Cannon Falls.
