Volleyball: Cannon Falls sweeps Byron

Led by a balanced offensive attack, the Cannon Falls volleyball team picked up a three-set victory in the Hiawatha Valley League against Byron Tuesday in Cannon Falls.
The Bombers swept the match 25-19, 25-21, 25-20.
MaKenzie Franklin and Hailey Huseth paced Cannon Falls’ attack with 12 and 11 kills, respectively. Huseth also had four total blocks, and Franklin added two ace serves. Lydia Franken controlled the offense with 24 set assists.
Cannon Falls (17-4, 9-2 HVL) heads to Rochester Lourdes on Thursday.
