Extra seat belt enforcement begins Oct. 12
Nearly 400 Minnesota law enforcement agencies, including Red Wing Police Department, will have extra seat belt patrols out Oct. 12-26.
Nearly 400 Minnesota law enforcement agencies, including Red Wing Police Department, will have extra seat belt patrols out Oct. 12-26.
Officers will stop and ticket unbelted drivers or passengers. In Minnesota, drivers and passengers in all seating positions — including the back seat — are required to be buckled up or seated in the correct child restraint.
