Annual meeting will help select fair board members

The Goodhue County Agricultural Society and Mechanics Institute will hold its annual meeting at 8 p.m. Thursday Oct. 18 in the 4-H Building at the Goodhue County Fairgrounds. Members will elect individuals to five of the 15 Fair Board director positions. The positions are for a three-year term.

The Fair Board is a working board of volunteers that manage and plan all aspects of the county fair and fairgrounds. The fair board meets monthly and has work nights every Wednesday evening during the summer months prior to the fair.
