Letter: Drotos blends humor, knowledge

To the Editor:

The Minnesota Cities Stormwater Coalition is an organization of municipal professionals dedicated to cleaner water. By representing over 100 cities throughout Minnesota, the MCSC has become an effective voice in dealing with the mandatory regulations from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.

As chairman of the 11-member MCSC Steering Committee, I have worked alongside Paul Drotos for five years to implement stormwater pollution prevention measures.

Paul possesses a keen insight for the complex issues of stormwater management. His knowledge of and passion for clean water identify him as a powerful representative for the cities in his part of the state. His unique sense of humor is welcome relief to the sometimes dry stormwater policy discussions.

Paul Drotos is a natural leader on our steering committee. I am certain his abilities will transfer well to representing the citizens of Goodhue County in the capacity of county commissioner.
