Allen runing unopposed for District 1 County Board seat

Goodhue County Commissioner Ron Allen is the only member of the County Board running unopposed for re-election this year.
Allen has held the District 1 seat on the board since 2005.
Heading into his third term, the Red Wing resident has his focus set on the county budget. By limiting spending and making cuts in necessary areas, Allen’s goal is to keep the county’s levy as low as possible.
However, he’s prepared to provide funds for projects that will increase the safety of county citizens, such as those involving highways and interchanges.
