Goodhue County SWCD candidates talk about goals

The Goodhue County Soil and Water Conservation District Board has three supervisors up for re-election this year, and all of the candidates are running unopposed.
Donald Banks, John Jaeger and Ed McNamara have more than 75 years of combined experience working with the local SWCD, and each of them will soon add to that number when they enter another term.
Knowing that not everyone in the area is familiar with how the SWCD works, Banks, Jaeger and McNamara are taking an opportunity to explain the Soil and Water Conservation District’s role in Goodhue County farming practices and its goals for the future.
