Skating lessons

Skating lessons will be held from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Monday nights starting Oct. 22 at Prairie Island Arena. Lessons are for figure skaters and beginning hockey players. The class is broken into 30 minutes of group lesson and 30 minutes of practice ice. Cost is $78 for six weeks. A competitive team skating class will be held for advanced skaters from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m., with ongoing sessions throughout the school year.

Middle school sports

Middle school students can meet in the gym at Twin Bluff Middle School on Thursdays starting Oct. 25 to play a variety of games like dodge ball, medic, basketball and more. The class will meet from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. for four weeks. Cost is $11.

Girls basketball

The Winger girls basketball clinic for girls in grades 2-8 will be held 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday Oct. 22 at the Red Wing High School gym. Cost is $19 and proceeds will benefit the Winger girls basketball program.
