Frieda Ringeisen, 100

Frieda Luella Olga Ringeisen, 100, was granted her final wish on Monday, October 1, when the Lord took her to her heavenly home.

Frieda Luella Olga Ringeisen, 100, was granted her final wish on

Monday, October 1, when the Lord took her to her heavenly home.

She was born on Oct. 31, 1911, in Ford County, Illinois to Gus and

Olga (Zabel) Bleich. She met Walter Ringeisen and they were married

Nov. 28, 1931. They moved to Minnesota in 1940 where they lived

in Farmington and Northfield before coming to Goodhue County in 1948.

She worked part- time at W.N. Majerus Grocery Store. Walter died in

1981. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Frieda

enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles and crypto quotes, playing BINGO

and making quilts.

She is survived by her sons, Lonnie (Ruth) of Red Wing and Marland

(Dorothy) Ringeisen of St. Paul Park; daughter-in-law, Deloris

Ringeisen of Goodhue; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren;

sister-in-law, Marion Bleich of Watseka, IIl.; and many nieces and

nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; sons, Dale

and Arlon; three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at St.

Peter’s Lutheran Church in Goodhue with Reverend Randall Kuznicki

officiating. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on

Thursday.
