Letter: Howe brings needed experience

To the Editor:

As we consider the candidates for Minnesota state Senate this year, there could not be a more qualified, respectable, and honorable choice than Sen. John Howe.

Howe worked tirelessly to represent the city of Red Wing as mayor, and he has continued that dedicated service by representing over 75,000 people as our state senator.

Howe understands the need to make state government more effective and efficient for us. Howe has the experience of a small business owner and understands what is needed to promote job creation.

Howe has worked with the Minnesota Department of Transportation to address serious highway safety issues such as dangerous intersections along U.S. Highways 52 and 61.

Our Senate district needs someone with real experience, and John Howe's resume stands far above anyone else for this position.
