Letter: Fair is countywide affair

To the Editor:

The 2012 Goodhue County Fair is over and we appreciate all of those involved. This includes our partners, sponsors, volunteers, exhibitors, vendors and guests.

The weather was challenging on a couple of days, and we thank the fairgoers for their patience on those days. When the sun came out, the grounds dried out, and attendance was outstanding, making our 151st fair a success.

We couldn't do it without all of you. Many donations of money and equipment came from special friends. All the 4-H members, their parents and leaders and to others volunteers and workers gave hours of their time to help make our fair outstanding. Exhibitors and vendors had our fairgrounds "bursting at the seams" with quality exhibits and displays.

Thanks for a successful fair in 2012 and look forward to 2013. We are always open to suggestions.
