Boys Soccer: Tigers drop match on road

Lake City goalkeeper Ben Linder had eight saves, but the Tigers couldn’t put up a goal in a 2-0 loss to Plainview-Elgin-Millville Thursday in Plainview.
Scoreless after the first half, the Bulldogs finally got on the board in the 55th minute on a goal by Corey Hofschulte. Ten minutes later, Alex Carter put P-E-M up 2-0 after converting a goal on a penalty kick.
The Tigers (4-8-1) remain on the road for its next game, taking on Kasson-Mantorville Tuesday in a Hiawatha Valley League contest.
