The United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha and Pierce Counties has made its Chili Cook-off a tradition despite the event marking just its ninth year. Already, we can’t imagine an annual fundraising campaign without it.
Thursday’s kickoff promises to be fun and to kick-start your taste buds too. Amateurs and professionals, businesses, manufacturers and non-profits will compete for honors such as best display, best costume, best chili name and, naturally, best chili.

Dig in, everybody.
