Volleyball: Wildcats get past Lake City

Goodhue traveled to Lake City Tuesday and came away with a three-set victory 25-13, 25-21, 25-14.

Junior Kali Ryan led the Wildcats with 10 kills, junior Laurie Pearson had eight kills and junior Meredith Watson added another eight kills. Junior Mikayla Tipcke finished with a team-leading 26 set assists and four ace serves in the win while junior Emilee Roschen led the team with 18 digs.

Senior Tiffanie Hoops had four kills and 10 digs for the Tigers, sophomore Bailey Cronin tallied 12 set assists and eight digs and senior Taylor Koller finished with five kills and four ace blocks.

Lake City hosts Stewartville Thursday and Goodhue plays Byron Thursday in Goodhue.
