Seifert, Drotos compete for District 5 seat

Candidates running for spots on the Goodhue County Board have a lot of topics to address before the November election.

While large scale wind farms and industrial-sized silica sand mines rank as the most controversial issues in Goodhue County today, local citizens want answers on other topics as well.

In addition to economic concerns, they are also worried about public safety at dangerous intersections along Highway 52 and other roads throughout the county.

Incumbent Ted Seifert and challenger Paul Drotos are sharing their stance on a variety of topics as they compete for the District 5 seat on the County Board. The two candidates have similar views on several issues, but differ in their plans for handling them.
